These bars contain Glacial Marine Mud and sisku’pas (ground bark), ingredients that have been used by Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest for generations to smooth their skin.

These bars are soap-free. They give an allover deep cleansing while helping slough off dead skin cells for a smooth, clean feeling.

  • the ground bark of a coastal conifer treasured by the Cowlitz tribe of the Pacific Northwest, this ingredient (known as sisku’pas by the Cowlitz people) was used for its skin buffing effects.
• Glacial Marine Mud
  • containing more than 50 skin beneficial minerals and trace elements, including zinc and sea botanicals, Glacial Marine Mud is obtained from a remote glacial estuary in the Pacific Northwest. It absorbs impurities from skin (dirt, dead cells, and excess oil) without robbing precious moisture.

    Legend has it that indigenous people may have tried to make pottery from this special mud. They were unsuccessfulbecause of the mud’s fine particle size, but noticed their handswere softer and smoother.
