Sagging Skin and the Hypothalamus
rel="nofollow">
It seems sagging skin is part of life. It's inevitable, as we grow old our skin sags. But is that the only reason this happens? Could we slow this process down? There's a lot of things that can cause our skin to sag. The aging process is one factor we are most aware of but did you know that the hypothalamus also plays a part? So, what has the hypothalamus to do with sagging skin? Simple, it plays a huge role in our hormone production and hormonal imbalance contributes to the aging process. Lets take a few minutes and see the connection. Many of our hormones are produced by the endocrine system which consists of the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands. In order for us to have good hormonal balance all these glands must work in harmony. The hypothalamus can be likened to the grand master of the endocrine system. It is like the orchestra conductor that keeps these organs working in harmony.
As we age, our hypothalamus becomes imbalanced because of: --overload of fungus --chemical pollution
--parasites
What happens if the production of hormones is off balance? Sagging skin, fine lines, increased wrinkles and skin discoloration are just a few of the problems that occur. So there is a connection between sagging skin and the production of hormones. We cannot stop the aging process, but we can support our skin when going through this process by keeping our hypothalamus healthy.
